Hey people,

It's the end of my first week and my new school- Aminiya..And so far, I like my teachers -T.T teacher and Dhiv teacher strictly excluded since they came to my hate list at the1st day itself- and I have got loadsa homework..And really surprisingly I love History and Geography! (Wonders never cease!) That is why I'm planning to join SEAS.

And..I wish myself all the success and hope I'll pass all the subjects...A girl can hope, right?..:D

P.S. 17th of January is my younger brothers b' day...He's going to be 10 years In 2010..(yeah yeah..i know its cool) So a very happy birthday to him..

Frozen Waters

Hey guys...long time no post, huh?

But now I am back...And with something weird, too..

You see people..

Late last night, there I was trying hard to go to sleep but unsuccessful in doing so...My mind kept wandering in to weird stuff like winter and summer (That's because it was very hot last night despite the fact that it rained)..

Then I wondered..how life would be if it snowed in Maldives..Hmmm, I had thought...

It'll be reaalllyyy cold -and I love cold weather, by the way- cold enough to freeze the water...

AND THEN IT HIT ME, PEOPLE!!

If the water freezes, so would the oceans!! And I can skate along the 'frozen waters' to any island!!

Then when I woke up in the morning, I laughed at my stupid thoughts...(I knew it was stupid because oceans never freeze)..then I thought of sharing it here.

...and bada-bing bada-boom! Here I am!

She had no idea where she was going...She kept walking along the beach...The ocean had never looked bleaker.It was a heavy, shining sliver colour - like the mercury in a thermometer. The day, which had started out so bright, had turned overcast, and it got darker and darker as she walked on the beach.

And walked. She walked aimlessly. She walked wanting to be alone. The sky was dark grey. The ocean stretched out endlessly beneath it, even darker. Looking at it, she felt a strange and terrible fascination. If she just started walking towards it and kept on going...

Stop that! She thought savagely. Get hold of your self.

But it would be so easy... Yes, and then she'd be really alone. Alone forever. Alone as she desired.. Solitude suddenly sounded like a beautiful word to her. A word behind which is a meaning far beyond isolation.

No! She can't do that. She thought.

But if she just ventured a few more steps, she could be where she desired. Where she belonged.

Shivering violently, she wrenched her self away from the whispering grey waters. Her feet were numb.

Then she wondered. Life or death? But which is which?

Unlike the last poem, I did not write this one myself but I don't know who wrote it either...I found this from the internet and it was so inspiring and so true..So i thought of sharing it with everyone..so here goes..

To be apart of a family like mine
is so divine
where love is shown
hurt is shared
our love for each other is never impaired

we talk
we laugh
we cry

but we are a family
and we do it all together
for as a family
we do it all as one

you hurt one
you hurt all
and as a family unit
we will all stand tall

for we are family
a family full of strength
a family full of love
a family no one can touch
that's why I love my family so much.

Last night I went up to my WonderLand,
where there were many things to see.
I saw a bird with golden wings,
High up in a golden tree.

There were many golden apples and leaves.
That grew in the same golden tree.
"Oh, what a beautiful place," I said,
And then the golden tree gleamed in its nightly aura.

Then there was this wondrous garden,
where giant flowers grew.
Each had three different colors;
Yellow and purple and blue.

I saw a great big sparkling pond,
And watched the goldfish there.
Some could talk sing and dance,
And some could fly in the air.

I wandered into a dark green forest,
where leaves talked with each other.
I also saw a great big lion,
Having tea with a handsome bear!

I walked on and on through my WonderLand,
until the whole scene took a dream-like quality.
And then I suddenly opened my eyes,
And realized that I was in bed.

People.. At last the problem with commenting has been settled...Or I hope it has!

And now I face yet another problem called as - Exams...It starts on Sunday the 18th and I have already started to cram everything i have learned this year.Unlike previous times its a bit early to start cramming..But this year exams are going to be harder too.. I always get good results and some people call it miracles because i hardly study...But in the last 3-4 years i have proved that for me, last minute cramming is the best way of studying...:D

PS. Shiken Jikogu is the Japanese word for 'examination hell'

Well..I said that I'd post something as soon as i get used to blogspot...But the problem is...i dont know how to get used to blogspot!!
And yeah..i know you can't comment on my blog..But that's not my fault, people, that i am lousy at these kind of stuff...So the point is, people, i need help....and desperately!

Hello people! Today is my first day in blogosphere and there's so much to do and so much to learn..A few moments ago, i was just blank...but with a little help from a few 'experienced' bloggers, i think i can at the very least write my first ever post....

But then again... what am i going to write?My introduction? A story? A poem? Ponderous ideas,huh?

Then all of a sudden, i remembered that there are some people without whom this blog might still be under construction...Why don't I write a thank you note to 'em?

So here goes....

Firstly, Thank you Noordhatha for going through a lot of trouble to make this blog...Then, Shayatha, thank you for coming up with an ideal name [pessimistic pestilence] for the blog,despite all the ridiculous ideas you suggested...

That's all, folks...I will post something interesting once i master how to....how to what? operate this thingy properly?
